Der Lumenthera Veil ist für normale, trockene, Misch- und empfindliche Haut geeignet. Bei Hautkrankheiten (z. B. Rosazea im akuten Schub, Psoriasis) oder Medikamenteneinnahme mit Lichtempfindlichkeit sollte vorab ärztlicher Rat eingeholt werden.

Das Open-Eye-Design des Geräts lässt die Augenpartie frei. Blaulicht (460 nm) sollte dennoch nicht direkt in die Augen gerichtet werden. Bei empfindlichen Augen wird das Tragen einer leichten Schutzbrille empfohlen.

Für messbare Ergebnisse wird eine tägliche Anwendung von 10 Minuten über mindestens 8 Wochen empfohlen. Nach Erreichen des gewünschten Ergebnisses genügt eine Erhaltungsfrequenz von 2–3 Mal pro Woche.

Ja, bei sachgemäßer Anwendung und korrekter Intensitätseinstellung (50 % zum Einstieg empfohlen). Bei ungewöhnlichen Hautreaktionen sollte die Anwendung unterbrochen und ärztlicher Rat gesucht werden.

Nach invasiven Behandlungen (z. B. chemisches Peeling, Microneedling, Laserbehandlung) sollte das Gerät erst nach vollständiger Abheilung und nach Rücksprache mit dem behandelnden Arzt oder der behandelnden Ärztin eingesetzt werden.

Der integrierte NTC-Thermoschutz schaltet das Gerät automatisch ab, wenn die Betriebstemperatur einen definierten Grenzwert überschreitet. Ein Neustart ist erst nach ausreichender Abkühlung möglich.
